Who am I? What am I?
We all have many sides to ourselves, some public, some private. When I was asked to write about myself for this website, the reaction was ‘panic panic’ ‘help help’. Do we see ourselves as others see us? That I cannot answer, what I do know is how much I love what I do - and do what I love.
Hypnosis and the Power of the Mind, Reiki with its marvellous healing power, relieving all those aches and pains with normal or sports massage as well as giving that ‘feel good factor’, the pampering of an Indian Head Massage or holistic Facial Massage as well as the health benefits.
My journey started many years ago in a second hand bookshop - I had always been fascinated by Hypnosis and how the Power of the Mind can be used to help all sorts of situations - there it was a really ancient book called ’Modern Hypnotism’ Key to the Mind, which I read and reread.
Life carried on as normal until one day in 2002, I opened a national newspaper to a big advert ’Train to be a Hypnotherapist in London’ Since that course there have been many more, each one adding to the last. Along the way I was attuned for Reiki, and finally became a Master, also taking Anatomy & Physiology as the stepping stone to learning how to give a number of different Massage Treatments. Learning how to use the power of body, mind and spirit in healing and wellbeing processes has become an obsession.
In all of my training it has become apparent that there is no "one way" to health and wellbeing. Every individual has different needs, unique beliefs and values. I try to understand my clients, reach the true root of their problems and apply the most appropriate technique in ever case.
Although all the Therapies I use are different, in many ways they complement one another other and can often be combined with each other to great effect.
